SORRY HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO COMMUNICATE WITH MY CONSTITUENTS RECENTLY, BEEN ON THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL. Let me assure you, campaigning is a grueling, tiresome and sometimes frustrating ordeal but in the end, it is worth every moment. Get to meet many lovely people. Once in a while you meet someone who is there to heckle and disrupt but it doesn't phase me, even when they outnumber my supporters.
Covered a total of 11 states and met on street corners, school auditoriums, Town Halls and in front of convention centers. Had to rise early, usually spreading my message by 10 a.m. The more I meet people the more I realize our platform has caught the fancy of the majority of voters, I am more confident than ever.
I have been endorsed thus far by several unions, the SPSO (The society for the protection of sex offenders) the very active TYTV (Too young to vote) and the WWCVSC organization, a very well respected and large organization. (Wish we could vote Senior Citizen Organization) It is comforting to know one is appreciated.
Plans for the near future include some TV spots, radio commercials and the distribution of Bikini bathing suits with our DRP logo. The agency handling our campaign is most innovative.
I am working on my acceptance address but since there is no hurry I will just set aside the paragraph I have written thus far.
I cannot win without you, my followers. It is a known fact that keeping a name in the publics' eye is the best form of advertising. Name recognition is sooooo important. We have plenty free, easy to remove bumper stickers available. Just ask for one, or more.
I look forward to shaking your hand at one of my campaign stops.
